Role Description

Paired is looking for a dedicated US Tax Accountant to join a forward-thinking U.S.-based company in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional tax services and solutions to a diverse range of clients, including small business owners and innovative entrepreneurs.

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations
• Review financial statements and documents to identify potential tax savings and compliance issues
• Maintain thorough, organized records to ensure audit readiness
• Communicate with clients effectively through email to collect necessary documentation and address inquiries
• Utilize Canopy CRM to manage client tasks and streamline workflow
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and improve processes
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate client advice and services

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. tax preparation and accounting
• Active CPA or EA designation
• In-depth understanding of federal and state tax laws
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in tax preparation
• Excellent written communication skills for professional client interactions
• Experience with Canopy CRM or similar tax software tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a team
• Well-organized with the capacity to manage multiple clients and meet tight deadlines
