This fully remote position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients, handling challenging tax engagements, and having the independence to manage their own workload.

You'll have the opportunity to work across individual and business tax engagements while collaborating with other tax professionals in a remote team environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take ownership of preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, including individual, partnership, S corporation, and C corporation returns.
• Work through federal and state tax compliance matters for a diverse client base.
• Help identify tax planning opportunities and research technical tax questions.
• Work with clients to gather information, answer questions, and resolve tax issues.
• Coordinate tax engagements and keep projects moving toward filing deadlines.
• Assist with reviewing work and supporting less experienced team members.
• Build your technical knowledge through exposure to a variety of tax situations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience preparing business and individual tax returns.
• Working knowledge of partnership and S corporation taxation.
• CPA license or progress toward certification is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
