[Hiring] Tax Manager @Fulton Hogan

Role Description

Want a tax role with real variety, solid stretch, and plenty of room to grow? We’re looking for a Tax Manager on a permanent full-time basis to join our team supporting our operations across New Zealand and Australia and help lead key workstreams across a complex, fast-moving business.

The role is ideally based in our Christchurch corporate office with the rest of the team, though we’re open to remote for the right person.

Qualifications

• Corporate New Zealand or Australian income tax experience.
• At least 4+ years of relevant tax experience in professional services or an in-house environment.
• Chartered Accountant qualification or an equivalent law qualification.
• Strong capability in Excel and Microsoft Office, with confidence working across systems and processes. JDE experience will help.
• A collaborative, self-driven approach, with the ability to build strong relationships and manage complex work well.

Requirements

• Lead tax workstreams and help ensure we meet our obligations across the business.
• Provide practical tax advice to stakeholders across Fulton Hogan.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish, managing delivery with a high standard of care.
• Work closely with the wider tax team, Group Finance, and Regional Finance Managers.
• Help navigate a complex environment with multiple business units, regions, and tax types.
