Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Tax & Accounting Specialist to join a growing finance firm to be supporting US-based clients. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient across accounting systems and reporting tools, with the ability to manage multiple client portfolios efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• SAIPA accreditation is essential (SAICA and CIMA candidates are welcome to apply)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and QuickBooks or Xero
• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and tax; newly qualified accountants who completed their articles are also welcome to apply
• US accounting/tax experience will be beneficial but not required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Requirements

• Manage accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation functions for a variety of clients
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and tax submissions
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and statutory requirements
• Generate insightful financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel
• Reconcile accounts and manage general ledger entries in QuickBooks
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely reporting
• Stay current on tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance requirements
