[Hiring] System Manager of Contracts @MultiCare Health System

Role Description

The Manager-Contracts leads the preparation, negotiation, and acceptance of a diverse range of contracts, subcontracts, and licensing agreements for services, supplies, and non-employed physicians in accordance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of MultiCare’s contract and strategic sourcing activities. The incumbent serves as the contracts expert consulting with and advising leadership and other MHS stakeholders on major and/or critical contract negotiations to ensure appropriate evaluation of potential liabilities and assessment of risk. Identifies and assesses legal risk for business stakeholders, providing recommendations and risk mitigation alternatives. The incumbent ensures efficient coordination and implementation of contract terms and conditions across the organization in addition to providing staff supervision. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or a related discipline
• Advanced degree (MS/MBA/JD) required
• Contracts Management certification preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of directly applicable contracting experience required
• Minimum three (3) years of experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $107,598.00 - $154,814.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
