Role Description
Celero Commerce is seeking a driven and detail-focused Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting accurate financial reporting, assisting with month-end close, and helping ensure the organization’s financial operations run smoothly. Responsibilities:

Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards

Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations

Partner with cross-functional teams to collect and evaluate financial data that supports reporting and business decisions

Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity for accuracy and completeness

Develop recurring reports and schedules to aid in financial analysis

Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external partners in a timely and professional manner

Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with applicable regulations

Provide support to Senior Accountants, leadership, and related functions (including AP and AR) on projects and ad hoc requests

Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to greater efficiency and accuracy

Leverage accounting systems and tools to manage and track financial data effectively

Assist with additional accounting responsibilities as needed across the team
Qualifications
-
2+ years of professional experience in an accounting or finance-related role

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards

Experience using accounting software and Excel for analysis and reporting

Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy

Clear and effective communication skills for working across teams

Ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and contribute to business-impacting solutions
