[Hiring] Staff Accountant @Radiology Partners

Role Description

The Staff Accountant will administer day-to-day radiologist compensation. This role is also responsible for operational and corporate accounting duties across the organization.

• Administer radiologist compensation calculations and disbursements across all vRad entities.
• Collaborate with Physician Relations and Legal teams to ensure compliance with current compensation arrangements.
• Assist in the design, testing, and ongoing enhancement of internal software tools used for radiologist compensation and reporting.
• Oversee the 1099 preparation and filing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare payroll and benefit-related entries.
• Prepare credit card and expense reimbursement entries.
• Record ad hoc bank transactions as required.
• Serve as a backup for other team members as needed.
• Prepare internally developed software entries and collaborate with technology teams.
• Adhere to month end, quarter end and year end close calendar.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Compile external audit requests.
• Prepare and update departmental procedure documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and one year related work experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Workday ERP experience is beneficial but not required.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Requirements

• Sedentary job classification - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. A sedentary job involves sitting most of the time.
