Role Description
The Sr HELOC Consumer Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Selene’s consumer line of credit portfolio, with a focus on operational accuracy, fraud mitigation, and servicing integrity. This position requires deep expertise in MSP and open-ended credit structures and will contribute to Selene’s mission of delivering customized servicing solutions that preserve homeownership.

Monitor team performance using QC metrics and trend analysis to identify systemic risks and improvement opportunities.

Analyze recurring and cross‑portfolio issues; determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventative actions.

Develop and maintain job aids, analytical tools, and documentation to support consistent execution and risk mitigation.

Serve as a functional lead and subject‑matter resource for Consumer Operations analysts on complex scenarios and processes.

Evaluate new loan boarding methodologies and operating models; assess readiness, controls, and scalability.

Partner with management to research and resolve global servicing risks, policy deviations, and operational impacts.

Coordinate with internal and external servicing vendors to assess data integrity, service performance, and alignment.

Test, validate, and document new processes prior to rollout; evaluate downstream impacts and control effectiveness.

Collaborate with Call Center leadership to ensure borrower communications are accurate, compliant, and consistent.

Analyze consumer lines of credit, including HELOCs, to ensure compliance with servicing standards and investor requirements.

Leverage MSP Consumer Loan Workstation reporting to monitor portfolio trends, line performance, and calculation accuracy.

Assess data discrepancies related to acquired portfolios or prior servicers; identify root causes and remediation strategies.

Apply cash application expertise to analyze exception trends, payment risks, and process improvement opportunities.

Partner with fraud and risk teams to identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Maintain and update departmental policies, procedures, and analytical standards to support operational governance.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Prior Senior Analyst experience a must.

Minimum 10 years of experience in consumer lines of credit, with a strong focus on HELOCs.

At least 10 years of hands-on experience with MSP, specifically within the Consumer Loan Workstation.

Proven ability to manage fraud detection and prevention strategies related to credit advances.

Experience with open-ended credit structures and repayment modeling.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in data reconciliation and servicing transitions.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience with servicing ICE servicing platform MSP.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
