Role Description

All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation’s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments, and governmental regulations.

• Monitors and uploads daily admission, certification, and recertification documents.
• Reviews billing documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Enters key billing data to support timely submission for payment.
• Manages and processes the company-wide queue for all billing documents to ensure workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years prior related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail required.
• Possesses excellent time management skills.
• Communicates proficiently both verbally and in writing.
• Experience and understanding of VITAS software systems (Vx, EMR, Power BI) and VITAS standards and procedures.
• Proven ability to maintain productivity and teamwork remotely.

Requirements

• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
