[Hiring] Senior Pensions Technician @Capita

Role Description

We are looking for a technical pensions specialist to join our home-based team. You will come from a DB background in either a technical or senior administration role. The work you will be doing is project based and is client facing, projects include but are not limited to GMP equalisation and rectification.

• The delivery of assigned projects
• Running and specifying data extracts from the administration system including bespoke reports
• Perform bulk calculations in Excel
• Identify opportunistic income work and provide cost estimates to the client and commercial teams
• Provide project updates and time scales to the leadership team
• Regularly review the effectiveness and efficiencies of existing systems and controls and make suggestions to continually enhance service delivery and improve processes

Qualifications

• Experience of working on DB schemes is essential at a technical level
• GMP experience
• Pensions calculations experience
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, ability to manipulate data in bulk, data reports etc.)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills, written and verbal

Requirements

• Project based pensions experience (desirable)
• Reviewing and checking work (desirable)
