Role Description
The Senior Manager, FP&A provides strategic financial leadership and decision support to executive and senior business leaders. This role owns financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis for assigned business units and/or enterprise functions, while also contributing to company‑wide FP&A processes, long‑range planning, and executive reporting. This position serves as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, translating complex financial data into clear insights that drive operating and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

Serve as the primary finance partner to senior business and functional leaders, providing insight on performance, risks, and opportunities.

Influence decision‑making through scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and return‑based prioritization.

Support strategic initiatives including growth investments, restructuring, pricing, and M&A activity.

Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management
-
Lead annual operating plan, rolling forecast, and long‑range planning processes for assigned areas.

Own financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, and key assumptions.

Drive disciplined performance management through variance analysis, KPI reporting, and actionable insights.

Executive & Board Support
-
Prepare materials for Executive Leadership Team, CFO, and Board‑level discussions.

Clearly communicate financial implications, trade‑offs, and recommendations to senior audiences.

Leadership & Team Development
-
Lead, coach, and develop FP&A managers and analysts; set clear expectations and accountability.

Establish best practices, storytelling, and analytical excellence.

Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and IT to ensure alignment and data integrity.

Process, Systems & Analytics

Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting.

Leverage planning and analytics platforms (e.g., Oracle EPM) to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.

Champion automation, standardization, and scalable reporting.
Qualifications
-
BS Accounting/Finance
-
8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or Accounting

Experience presenting to senior management
-
Experience developing strategic business plans
Requirements

CPA and/or MBA
-
Experience with Oracle EPM and SAP

Experience with acquisition integration

Experience working for a large multi-national accounting firm or public company
