Role Description
Oversight of collections processes:
-
Lead conversations with customers of all types to achieve the business goals for each related to A/R performance.

Present, articulate, and analyze cash and aging reports for senior management.

Develop, monitor, and present key performance indicators that will assist with forecasting of bad debt exposure, DSO, and the balance sheet to attain financial objectives.

Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment of priorities, management, and influence of results.

Identify, drive, and monitor continuous improvement related to the OTC process area.

Collaborate with leadership and front end partners on key OTC initiatives and process efficiencies.
-
Ensure adequate and timely root cause analysis to understand problem drivers and implementation of necessary corrections and/or changes.

Define and agree on KPIs and performance measures associated with the end-to-end process.

Lead benchmarking activities and continuous assessment of process performance measures, driving measurable improvements in the process over time.

Responsible for the implementation of new controls and processes as needed.

Assists with review and analysis of the financial statements and trends specific to AR.

Fosters a team collaboration of staff development, mentoring, performance management, engagement, and hiring.

Transfer knowledge to team members for their growth and advancement.

Requirements
-
Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
Desired Experience
-
7+ years of credit and finance work experience with 3+ years of management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to customers and internal sales teams.

Thorough knowledge of credit related laws.
Additional Knowledge & Skills

Well developed skills in financial statements, tax return and cash flow analysis.

Proven ability to perform complex account reconciliations with accuracy.

Negotiation skills.

Exceptional organizational and presentation skills.

Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite (including intermediate to advanced Excel experience).

Strong SAP background.
