Role Description

A leading medical institution is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide technical and general accounting support.

• Provide technical and general accounting assistance to the Controller, primarily completing bank reconciliations for the current year.
• Analyze financial information, accounting processes, and business systems to identify issues, prepare reports, recommend improvements to accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, and advise department personnel on accounting-related matters.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), with working knowledge of fund accounting and healthcare accounting.
• Experience managing and maintaining accounting systems and producing financial reports for medical groups and physician networks.
• Working knowledge of computerized general ledger and subsidiary accounting systems, including the flow of financial information and the ability to recommend system enhancements and modifications.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications to analyze financial data and prepare reports, presentations, and communications.
• Experience with Workday is preferred.
• Experience with Managed Care Plans is preferred.

Requirements

• Hourly pay: $75/hr
• Worksite: Leading medical institution (Remote, Open to candidates in the United States)
• W2 Employment

• 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, with flexibility to adjust working hours and work overtime as needed.
