[Hiring] Senior Finance Functional Analyst @Lean Solutions Group

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Functional Analyst to support a two-year global tax compliance and data transformation program focused on integrating financial data from more than 20 ERP systems across the United States, Europe, and other global regions. This role will serve as a critical link between business stakeholders, ERP source system teams, data engineering, and quality engineering. The successful candidate will combine strong financial domain knowledge with functional analysis, data mapping, testing coordination, and business user support to ensure financial data is accurately understood, mapped, validated, and prepared for tax compliance reporting.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with complex financial data, facilitating discovery sessions with ERP teams, translating business requirements into functional documentation, and supporting testing activities throughout the implementation lifecycle, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-go-live hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with ERP teams to understand source data structures, business processes, and data availability.
• Apply knowledge of core finance domains, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Master Data, and Trial Balance.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and support business requirements documentation.
• Participate in source-to-target mapping and define data transformation and validation rules.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and data engineering teams, communicating requirements and summarizing findings clearly.
• Support test data preparation and availability for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to identify test cases and support functional testing.
• Provide hands-on support to business users during UAT, including defect triage, issue resolution, and retesting.
• Coordinate post-go-live hypercare and support the resolution of data and functional issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with tax compliance, tax reporting, or finance transformation programs.
• Familiarity with US and European tax compliance requirements or other international tax reporting processes.
• Experience working across multiple ERP platforms in a global enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other major financial platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale data migration, data integration, or enterprise data transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with data quality management, financial data reconciliation, and automated testing practices.
• Experience supporting global implementations involving multiple countries, business units, and time zones.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, defect tracking tools, and project management platforms.
