[Hiring] Senior Enrolled Agent @Moskowitz LLP

Role Description

We're a fast-growing tax law firm based in San Francisco, looking for an experienced Enrolled Agent to join our tax resolution team. This is a 100% remote role, open to candidates anywhere in the U.S., working core hours of 9am–5pm PST. You'll work directly alongside our tax attorneys and legal support staff on a high-volume caseload.

• Contact the IRS and state agencies directly to negotiate payment plans, first-time penalty abatements, non-collectible status, and other resolution options.
• Review client financial documentation to determine the best path to resolution.
• Negotiate installment agreements, partial-pay agreements, offers in compromise, and levy releases on bank accounts and wages.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal support staff on assigned cases, helping manage caseload to meet service deadlines.
• Conduct client calls and meetings to gather documentation and keep cases moving.
• Identify opportunities to expand a client's scope of services and loop in the right internal team.

Qualifications

• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license.
• Active, valid IRS Centralized Authorization File (CAF) number.
• 5+ years of experience negotiating directly with the IRS.
• Tax preparation experience a plus.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume remote practice.
