Role Description
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting sound lending decisions by analyzing complex commercial credit relationships and developing well-supported credit recommendations. Investigate credit and financial information for prospective and existing clients.

Analyze business and personal financial statements, tax returns, cash flows, collateral support, and repayment sources for new, renewed, and existing commercial loans.

Independently evaluate complex credit relationships and develop recommendations with minimal guidance.

Prepare spreadsheets, credit approval packages, credit proposals, financial summaries, and written opinions for loan decision makers.

Partner with lending teams to support effective credit risk assessment and portfolio management.

Support the Team Leader role and serve as a backup when needed.

Train, mentor, and support the development of new team members.

Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, security requirements, and applicable government regulations.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).

An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

4 or more years of experience as a Credit Analyst (Required).

SBA credit analysis preferred.
Requirements

Strong expertise in analyzing complex financial statements, tax returns, credit information, and cash flow performance.

Deep knowledge of credit investigations, collateral requirements, and commercial lending concepts.

Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Adapt effectively to changing priorities and interruptions while delivering quality results.

Clear and professional communication, both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to commercial lending.

Proficient with Excel, Word, and other business and lending systems.

Enjoy collaborating with others and sharing knowledge through coaching and mentoring.

Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $88,657 - $104,303.
