Role Description

The Senior Budget Officer serves as the financial operations lead for a healthcare IT program, managing complex financial workflows across multiple IT systems and agencies. The role oversees:

• Invoice tracking
• Financial documentation
• Budget monitoring
• Vendor coordination
• Cross-agency financial activities

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining financial records across multiple platforms
• Processing and tracking invoices
• Developing budget dashboards
• Monitoring contract and funding expenditures
• Coordinating with finance, legal, procurement, security, vendors, and partner agencies
• Resolving financial issues
• Maintaining SOPs
• Providing accurate financial reporting to support leadership and compliance with state, federal, and contractual requirements

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing financial aspects of healthcare IT programs
• 7+ years of advanced financial operations and budget management
• 5+ years of multi-system financial documentation and data management
• 5+ years of cross-agency coordination and compliance
• 5+ years of invoice lifecycle management and vendor coordination
• 5+ years of financial analysis, issue resolution, and reporting
