[Hiring] Senior Analyst, Actuarial @CVS Health

Role Description

Join Aetna's Medicaid Actuarial team for an exciting opportunity to work on strategic projects and other business-critical functions. This position will support Medicaid-wide analyses and reporting as part of the Medicaid Strat team.

• Work with Medicaid Plan actuaries to identify opportunities for new or refined analyses relevant to multiple markets.
• Standardize current Plan-level reporting.
• Automate existing Medicaid team reporting.
• Support Medicaid Health Plans and Medicaid Finance in Request for Proposals (RFPs) for new and renewing business.
• Build the skills necessary to become a well-rounded actuary.

Looking for a driven, technically proficient colleague to join our team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, has experience building models, and clearly communicates the results of their analysis to a variety of audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 2-5 years of job-related experience.
• Expertise in Excel required.
• Demonstrated analytical and computing skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

• Expertise in SQL or equivalent.
• Experience in model building and optimization is a plus.
• Candidate should have multiple actuarial exams passed; close to ASA designation.
