[Hiring] Senior Accounts Payable Accountant @Western Digital

Role Description

As a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant (Mandarin Speaker), you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring timely processing and validation of invoices. This includes:

• Matching Purchase Orders and Goods Receipts
• Resolving invoice discrepancies
• Handling inquiries from complex suppliers and stakeholders
• Reviewing and reconciling supplier accounts
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
• Performing assigned ad hoc activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Business Management, or a related field of study
• Mandarin Speaker with accounting experience in Accounts Payable function
• Industry exposure in Global Business Services or Shared Service setup is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of financial software and ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud or SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliation and reporting
• Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts
