[Hiring] Senior Accounting Specialist @DCX

Role Description

We’re seeking a Home-Based Senior Accounting Specialist to join our DCX team and support our U.S.-based client. In this role, you’ll manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting and reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and compliance.

• Accurately record all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Process invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Assist in payroll processing by maintaining payroll records.
• Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance.
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records.
• Handle petty cash transactions and reconciliations.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, financial management, or a related field
• 1-3 years of Bookkeeping experience or General Accounting experience, or equivalent.
• Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.
• Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience working with intercompany books/ledgers in QuickBooks Online
• Experience working with small businesses
• Experience managing an Accounting Clerk
• Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
• In-depth understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation.
• Previous working experience as an offshore staff is highly advantageous.
