[Hiring] Senior Accountant @GR8 Deal Two, LLC

Role Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will be working in a team environment with our professionals to provide outsourced accounting services to a variety of clients. The Accountant provides CFO and Controller level consulting, as well as fully outsourced accounting assistance. In this role, you will focus on all areas relating to financial reporting for firm clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of financial reporting accuracy and timeliness of processing client information
• Bank and other balance sheet reconciliation and documentation
• Payroll preparation and reconciliation
• Review and approval of transactional accounting
• Review of general ledger for completeness and accuracy
• Management of weekly open items and communication with clients
• Review of month end journal entries including prepaids, accrued expenses, inventory, amortization etc.
• Preparation of initial draft financials and reporting package for completion by manager
• Coordinate weekly and monthly tasks with accounting staff
• Work with team to ensure timely month end close and delivery of financials
• Participate in career development activities and training of staff
• Develop and sustain relationships with client executives and senior management

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Minimum of three years of professional working experience
• Prior operational accounting experience, such as A/P, A/R, Payroll, Cash and Credit Card Reconciliations
• Preferred: Prior experience in client service, as well as coaching, mentoring and managing staff
• Experience using QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill.com, ADP, Paychex or other ERP, AP, payroll and spend management systems
• CPA or other professional license eligibility
• Other: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Excellent analytical, research and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to communicate with team members and clients
• Ability to quickly learn and work on new systems
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Travel may be required on occasion
