Role Description
As a Senior Accountant, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities while supporting financial reporting and analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both execution and analysis—owning core accounting processes while contributing insights that support business decisions. Over time, this position is expected to grow into an Accounting Manager or Financial Controller role as the company scales. You will work closely with the CEO and serve as a key contributor to financial accuracy, visibility, and process improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities

Accounting & Transaction Management

Manage full-cycle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) across multiple entities

Maintain an accurate and GAAP-compliant general ledger using QuickBooks Online

Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
-
Process payroll-related transactions and coordinate with external payroll providers
-
Oversee vendor workflows using Bill.com and DEXT (invoice processing, approvals, and payments)

Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Month-End Close & Reporting

Support and execute month-end and year-end close processes
-
Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements

Assist in consolidating financials across multiple entities

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data

Financial Analysis & Support

Assist in preparing cash flow reports and forecasts
-
Analyze financial data and provide insights on trends and variances
-
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
-
Contribute to KPI tracking (e.g., cost, revenue, and margins)

Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement

Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies
-
Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation

Document processes and improve accounting workflows

Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes

Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
-
Collaborate with internal stakeholders on financial data and reporting needs

Support pricing, cost analysis, and other business initiatives
-
Take on increasing ownership and leadership responsibilities over time
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

At least 5 to 7 years of accounting experience, with strong exposure to full-cycle accounting

Solid understanding of US GAAP

Hands-on experience with:

Month-end close processes
-
Financial reporting (P&L, reconciliations)

Accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger management

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Must have own equipment
Requirements

Experience in multi-entity accounting environments

Exposure to cash flow forecasting and financial analysis

CPA, CMA, or currently pursuing a professional certification
-
Experience working with US-based companies
-
Background in legal, professional services, or technology industries
