[Hiring] Senior Accountant @Geisinger

Role Description

Coordinates and oversees accounting and finance functions. Establishes relationships with financial and operational teams to create efficient and effective processes.

• Responsible for coordination and oversight of various accounting and financial analysis functions, which may include:
• Monthly general ledger or subsidiary ledger transactions
• Account analysis and reconciliations
• Supporting management and staff in daily accounting or financial reporting duties
• Ensuring that all work is performed in an auditable fashion.
• Reviews, refines, and automates department procedures to improve workflow efficiency.
• Work is typically performed in an office environment.
• Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree (Required)
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related work experience (Required)
