Role Description

Join a well-established Australian accounting and advisory environment working with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries and entity structures. This role sits within a high-performing business services team where accuracy, ownership, and client communication are critical. You will be trusted to manage your own jobs end-to-end, prepare work to review stage, and confidently liaise with clients on compliance matters.

This is not a purely back-office role. You will be working closely with clients, contributing to advisory conversations, and supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting services in a fast-paced public practice environment.

This is a remote opportunity open to Philippine-based accountants with strong Australian public practice experience. Remote work for Philippine-based candidates only. Full-time role. 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Morning shift aligned with AU timezone. Philippine tax and government contributions compliant employment.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Manage accounting jobs from start to completion, preparing work to review stage
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns across companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
• Ensure workpapers are complete, accurate, and aligned with firm standards
• Apply Australian tax laws and accounting standards in real client scenarios
• Liaise directly with clients to gather information, clarify requirements, and manage expectations
• Respond to client queries with clear, professional communication
• Identify issues, risks, or opportunities within client accounts and escalate where needed
• Manage deadlines, budgets, and workflow across multiple engagements
• Support junior team members and contribute to overall team delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in Australian public practice (business services)
• Strong knowledge of AU taxation, accounting standards, and compliance requirements
• Experience in handling multiple client entities (companies, trusts, individuals, partnerships)
• Strong working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting platforms
• Confident in client-facing communication (email and verbal)
• Detail-oriented, accountable, and comfortable working in a high-performance environment

Requirements

• Can confidently prepare accounts and tax work to review stage with minimal supervision
• Can manage your own workflow, deadlines, and priorities independently
