[Hiring] Senior Accountant @airCFO

Role Description

This role involves working with fast-growing tech startups as a Client Onboarding Specialist, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients at airCFO.

• Set up accounting systems for new airCFO clients
• Clean up historical books and create adjustment entries
• Build reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other key balance sheet items
• Analyze P&L statements to identify trends
• Conduct virtual onboarding calls with founders
• Manage asynchronous client communication via Slack and email
• Identify opportunities to help clients level up their back-office and airCFO services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience required
• CPA certification required
• Proficiency in GAAP and accrual accounting
• 4+ years of experience managing a diverse portfolio of U.S. based clients
• Proven client-facing experience with U.S. clients, preferably in high-tech startups
• Expertise in QBO/Xero and familiarity with small business tools
• Strong project management and client relationship management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Experience in maintaining standardized processes and identifying opportunities for streamlining client deliverables
