[Hiring] Retirement Product & Platform Transformation Consultant @JSR

Role Description

This is a remote contract opportunity with a major financial firm. Candidates must be based in the United States and must have experience with Retirement systems and/or services.

Our client is investing in the development of a new retirement product and supporting technology platform and is building out the capabilities required to transition from existing platforms and processes to a modern operating model. We are seeking experienced retirement industry professionals who can operate at the intersection of business operations, product, and technology. The ideal candidates understand retirement products and recordkeeping and can translate complex business requirements into clear processes, procedures, documentation, and technology requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business, operations, product, and technology stakeholders to define and implement new retirement products and capabilities.
• Analyze current-state processes and develop future-state business processes, procedures, and operating models.
• Serve as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating operational needs into clear business and technical requirements.
• Support platform migrations and transitions, including requirements, procedures, data/process dependencies, and operational readiness.
• Develop and maintain high-quality business and technical documentation, including procedures, requirements, process documentation, and user-facing materials.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders across retirement operations, technology, product, and transformation teams.
• Identify process gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the design and implementation of scalable processes for onboarding, servicing, and ongoing administration of retirement plans.
• Help prepare operations and business teams to support new products, platforms, and services.
• Work across multiple transformation workstreams and adapt as priorities evolve.

• Experience in retirement recordkeeping and operations.
• Experience in retirement platform implementations or transformations.
• Business analysis and requirements gathering.

• Technical/business writing and documentation.
