The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of our real estate properties, handling complex accounting tasks related to property management. • Manage financial records for various real estate properties using AppFolio and Realpage.
• Process vendor invoices, tenant billing, and ensure timely collections.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, budgets, and variance reports.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and property ledgers.
• Monitor and report on property performance metrics.
• Support year-end financial audits and prepare necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with property managers to ensure accurate financial management.
• Maintain compliance with real estate accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements in financial operations.
• Assist with compliance requirements, tax preparations, and filings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Real Estate Accountant
• Hands-on experience in using Appfolio
• Hands-on experience in using Realpage
• In-depth knowledge of real estate accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with GAAP standards is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
