[Hiring] Project Accountant @BCD

Role Description

Love balancing numbers, details, and teamwork? As a Project Accountant at BCD M&E, you’ll support Life Sciences congress programs in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment where accuracy, compliance, and deadlines really matter. You’ll partner closely with project teams to manage reconciliations, final billings, and Transfer of Value reporting that help keep complex programs running smoothly. If you’re energized by data, process, and making sure every detail lands exactly where it should, this could be your kind of role.

Qualifications

• Experience in meetings, events, or congress support, especially within Life Sciences or other highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with Cvent and entering final budgets, savings, and reconciliation-related data
• A college degree in accounting or a related field
• Experience preparing year-end accrual files and VAT reclaim documentation
• A background in travel or event-related financial operations

Requirements

• Managing reconciliations, billing, and accounting activities with strong accuracy in a structured, deadline-driven environment
• Working with multiple foreign currencies and keeping financial records organized, complete, and audit-ready
• Supporting compliance-focused reporting, including Transfer of Value requirements for the US and European Union under EFPIA
• Collaborating across planning, account, purchasing, and management teams to keep congress financials on track
• Using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to handle detailed data and spot issues before they become problems
