Role Description

ADB is seeking a Project Accountant to join the corporate finance team. This role is responsible for preparing general ledger entries, preparing financial statements and reviewing financial reports with operational groups. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized and customer centric, with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely reports showing actual and projected project financials of varying contract type, size, and scope; reviews results with financial and operational leadership.
• Oversee project set up process to ensure projects are setup in accordance with established accounting standards and internal processes.
• Prepares monthly WIP schedules, JCR's, and budgets for internal operational groups; hosts initial reviews with operational groups.
• Has mid-level financial acumen; assists in analyzing the financial impact of operational business decisions and issues affecting the company; provides suggestions.
• Ability to read, review and understand construction contract language to identify potential change orders and provide accurate revenue recognition.
• Oversees inventory levels in relations to actual monthly construction production in support of monthly WIP reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounting or Finance experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in Construction Accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation

The starting pay for this position is $65,000 and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
