Role Description

Manage purchasing actions, place purchase orders, and coordinate vendor activities.

Forecast material requirements, lead times, and cost impacts in coordination with Logistics and the Master Scheduler.

Maintain CAP/GFP tracking inputs and ensure alignment with property and quality controls.
-
Develop and submit CSDR inputs to the Air Force PMO and maintain supporting documentation.
-
Prepare weekly financial reports for the Program Manager, including burn rates, funding needs, risks, and opportunities.
-
Monitor incremental‑funding timelines and identify need‑by dates for Air Force funding actions.
-
Support EVM assessments by aligning procurement and finance data with schedule and performance indicators.
-
Track and reconcile material and asset records, including AMF and OEM registration data.
-
Evaluate procurement‑related risks and opportunities affecting cost, schedule, and mission execution.
-
Maintain audit‑ready procurement and financial documentation.
Qualifications
-
Five (5) years of relevant experience in procurement/logistics
-
Expertise in federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
-
Proficiency in DoD property accountability systems (DPAS)
-
Experience with supply chain management
-
Experience preparing cost, funding, and performance reports for government PMOs.
-
Understanding of EVM principles and cost/schedule integration.
-
Ability to assess lead times, material risks, and financial impacts across multi‑site programs.
-
Skilled in inventory management
-
Strong contract compliance knowledge
-
Experience navigating DoDIN APL
-
Proficient in asset management practices
-
Must have an active Secret clearance
Requirements

DAWIA Level II Contracting or CPCM
Preferred Qualifications
-
DAWIA certification in Business-Financial Management (Practitioner or Advanced)

IUID/UID experience
-
DoD logistics systems knowledge
-
Vendor management experience
-
MIL-STD familiarity
-
Familiarity with CSDR requirements, financial controls, and contract‑level reporting.

Proficiency with ERP systems and contractor purchasing systems.

Smartsheet Proficiency

MS Project Proficiency
