Role Description
The Private Equity Associate serves as the analytical and operational engine behind a high-growth CEO’s personal wealth strategy and investment platform. This role blends private equity, small business acquisition, real-estate underwriting, financial operations, and tax-aware strategic planning. The Associate will evaluate deals, manage diligence, build financial models, monitor multi-entity performance, and help structure a cohesive, scalable investment system for the CEO’s growing portfolio. This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role for a sharp, resourceful operator who can bring clarity, analytical depth, and financial rigor to a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
You will work directly with our CEO to:

Expand real estate investments across multiple markets

Ensure financial clarity across all companies

Support tax optimization, entity structuring, and long-term financial planning

Build a private investment system that scales beyond Bree’s time and attention
Qualifications

4–8 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate development, transaction services, management consulting, and/or a comparable analytical/finance-intensive role.

Exceptional financial modeling capability, including LBOs, sensitivity analyses, working-capital forecasting, debt-service modeling, and multi-scenario planning; able to build from scratch without templates.

Experience supporting or leading transaction processes, including sourcing, deal screening, due diligence, data-room organization, materials preparation, and cross-party coordination.

Exposure to real estate underwriting including multifamily, mixed-use, or operating-business real estate.

Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial automation tools, dashboards, and reporting systems; strong analytical intuition and numerical accuracy.

Superb written communication, especially the ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear, concise, decision-ready memos, models, and summaries.

High degree of discretion and professional integrity, with the ability to manage confidential financial information across multiple entities and stakeholders.

Proven ability to operate in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments, exercising sound judgment, proactive problem-solving, and independent decision-making.

Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

Comfort engaging with external stakeholders, including lenders, investors, attorneys, accountants, sellers, and advisors, with professionalism and clarity.

Curiosity and a builder’s mindset—someone who improves systems, templates, models, and processes rather than simply using what exists.
