[Hiring] Payroll Specialist @Point32Health

Role Description

Process bi-weekly, multi-state payroll using the Workday platform with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Prepare for biweekly payroll processing
• Receive all one-time employee pay data changes and review for completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness
• Perform data-entry of all one-time employee pay data changes in accordance with payroll processing deadlines
• Process all changes in payroll system
• Review Manager Self Service events for completeness, accuracy and verify approvals
• Monitor Employee Self Service changes to tax withholdings and address changes
• Maintain benefit deduction information for fitness center memberships, Liberty Mutual, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.
• Complete new hire record audits submitted by talent acquisition team to ensure accurate pay for new employees
• Perform Social Security Verification on all hires
• Online Time & Absence Maintenance
• Review online time & absence for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with company pay policies
• Support colleagues and managers with timecard and absence corrections as needed
• Perform all steps to successfully transmit and receive the payroll files from the payroll service
• Run post payroll reports and reconciliations between Workday and ADP
• Enter or review On Demand payments for involuntary terminations, missed wages and as requested
• Provide assistance and support to colleagues, managers and HR by monitoring the Payroll Inbox, Teams and Workday ticketing
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Required (minimum): 3 years payroll experience
• Preferred: Workday experience a plus
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, spreadsheets, vlookups)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with internal parties across all levels of the organization
• Ability to build connections and work with different departments to resolve issues
• Organized, logical and methodical

Requirements

• Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required
• Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations
• May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule

Salary Range

$24.19 - $36.28
