Role Description

Experience with ADP Workforce Now.

Process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for hourly, non-exempt and exempt employees, contractors and practice owners in accordance with government regulations.

Enter/audit employee payroll changes (i.e. pay rates, titles, department changes, payroll deductions).

Follow all processing procedures in accordance with payroll SOPs.

Communicate with physician partners, practice managers, and employees to respond to inquiries, resolve payroll errors and issues.

Assist in payroll reports preparation for audits, year-end processes, and upon managersโ requests.

Submit and manage tax-related notices through ADP Smart Compliance.

Respond to accounting inquiries and requests.

Assist with Workerโs Compensation Audits.

Manage benefit deductions arrears and repayment plans.

Submit employee 401(k) contributions for each payroll cycle.

Work closely with payroll, HR, and accounting departments regarding employee and/or policy changes affecting payroll.

Maintain confidentiality of employee pay and personal information.

Work on special projects as needed.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience with multi-state payroll.

Excellent working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, ADP iReports, ADP Smart Compliance and ADP Essential Time & Attendance. Experience should be recent and within the last 3 years.

Excellent computer skills (MS Office, primarily Excel).

Familiarity with payroll taxes, benefits, wage & hour laws.

Experience with traditional and Roth 401(k) plans.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to establish and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability.

High level of critical thinking skills.

Ability to work independently.

Knowledge of multiple pay types is a plus (i.e. W2, 1099 and Schedule K-1).
