Role Description
As a Payment Specialist in Clinical Trial Financial Operations - Pharma/Biotech, you will play a crucial role in the management of investigator payments, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with clinical trial agreements. Your role will involve:

Leading monthly study payment reporting meetings with payment vendors to ensure timely payments.

Collaborating with study teams and functional groups to identify and resolve payment issues.

Reviewing payment actuals and working with vendors to ensure compliance with CTAs.

Drafting and finalizing payment terms in the CTA Financial Appendix.

Supporting study teams during CTA negotiations and query resolution.

Liaising with payment vendors to resolve disputes and provide necessary clarifications.

Ensuring study funding is available and managed in accordance with the funding process.

Developing an understanding of vendor data capabilities to efficiently resolve queries.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree required.

2+ years of experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or academic medical center in site payments or relevant experience.

Proficiency in project management and financial analysis across Phase I-IV clinical trials.

Excellent conflict resolution, decision making, and communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of tasks.
Requirements

Experience working with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.

Familiarity with clinical trial agreements and payment processes.

Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
