[Hiring] Payment Coordinator @Florida Cancer Specialists

Role Description

Post all payments from insurance carriers and patients in an accurate and timely manner.

• Balance daily work between practice management system and bank report.
• Work with multiple software systems and websites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in processing cash and insurance payment transactions in a medical setting or a relevant financial background or any combination of the two is preferred.
• Understanding of insurance payment processes and how to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is preferred.
• Ability to process a large amount of transactions with a high degree of accuracy preferred.
• Proficient in working with figures and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Remote: YES
• Normal Schedule: Monday - Friday 730am - 330pm EST

Screenings

• Background, drug, and nicotine screens are required.
• All offers of employment are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background screening.
• New hires must receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.
