Role Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as an Oracle Vertex Tax Consultant within the IT Services sector. This pivotal role involves leveraging extensive expertise in tax automation and indirect tax compliance to drive successful implementation and support initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sales and use tax, VAT, and GST processes, ensuring seamless integration with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP environments. With a focus on the Oracle Vertex Tax Engine, this position is critical for optimizing tax determination rules and configuration, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and regulatory adherence for our clients.

• Lead and manage the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically focusing on tax modules.
• Design and execute complex tax automation strategies to ensure accurate indirect tax compliance across various jurisdictions.
• Configure and maintain the Oracle Vertex Tax Engine, including expertise in O Series, Cloud, and Accelerator versions.
• Develop and refine tax determination rules to align with dynamic business requirements and evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Provide specialized consultation on Sales & Use Tax, VAT, and GST processes, ensuring full compliance with local and international tax laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve technical challenges, and optimize tax workflows within the ERP ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Implementation and Support.
• Proven track record of at least 4 years working specifically with the Oracle Vertex Tax Engine (covering O Series, Cloud, and Accelerator versions).
• Demonstrated proficiency in Tax Automation and Indirect Tax Compliance frameworks.
• Strong technical knowledge of Sales & Use Tax, VAT, and GST processes and their application in global business contexts.
• Expertise in Oracle Fusion Tax configuration and the ability to define and manage Vertex tax determination rules effectively.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions within the Oracle ecosystem.
