Role Description
Are you an experienced mortgage closer looking for your next opportunity? CTG is seeking a Mortgage Closing Specialist I to support a leading financial services client. In this remote role, you'll manage residential mortgage closings from Closing Disclosure preparation through final closing package completion, collaborating with borrowers, settlement agents, title companies, and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and on-time loan closings.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare initial and final Closing Disclosures (CDs) and complete final closing packages.

Coordinate with borrowers, settlement agents, title companies, loan officers, and internal departments throughout the closing process.

Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal mortgage regulations.

Obtain and validate payoffs, title work, insurance, tax information, and other required closing documentation.

Monitor loan pipelines, manage closing timelines, and proactively resolve issues that could delay funding.

Perform verbal verification of employment and ensure all closing documentation meets investor and compliance requirements.

Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple loans in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications

2+ years of recent residential mortgage closing experience.

Experience preparing initial and final Closing Disclosures (CDs).

Experience producing complete final mortgage closing packages.

Strong knowledge of residential mortgage closing procedures and regulatory requirements.

Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage processing systems.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.

Associate degree with a minimum of one (1) year of prior business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements

Previous mortgage closing experience with a lender, title company, or settlement agent.

Knowledge of mortgage products, investor guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Experience with mortgage closing software and document management systems.

Familiarity with title, escrow, homeowner's insurance, flood insurance, tax, and payoff processes.

Working knowledge of secondary market and investor documentation requirements.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $18.68 to $31.14 per hour.
