[Hiring] Manager, Payroll Accounting @Worldwide Clinical Trials

Role Description

They are responsible for providing strategic direction on global payroll accounting for approximately 40 countries across the globe. Foster relationships with senior internal stakeholders by establishing and maintaining exceptional business relationships and working collaboratively with other corporate and country level teams including HR, Total Rewards, Legal, Treasury, Finance, and IT. Support new and existing pay programs (local and global), manage and drive process standardization, automation, and improvement in the controls for payroll accounting globally and ensures process efficiency and effectiveness. Own the governance of the payroll accounting and provide coaching, mentoring and leadership of the payroll accounting.

• Drive appropriate consistent processes across the globe and coordinate regional efforts towards global accounting process standardization while allowing flexibility locally when required
• Maximize the effectiveness of technologies and supporting processes to drive continuous improvement and change initiatives.
• Own oversight of Global Payroll accounting to ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific policies and procedures.
• Establish partnerships with internal services and third-party vendors to ensure effective service delivery.
• Coach, mentor and provide leadership development to team members to optimize operational excellence and create a deeper bench of experienced talent.
• Build partnerships and solicit feedback from internal and external business partners to define and develop successful, scalable accounting processes and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 8+ years global payroll accounting experience including use of payroll systems
• Experience of process improvement specifically driving efficiency gains within the business.
• Demonstrable experience of effectively implementing change initiatives within a fast-growing organization
• Managerial experience

• Strong analytical skills to identify potential impact and implications of issues
• Understanding of external factors influencing on WCT and of the financial aspects related to the factors
• Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
