Role Description

Reporting directly to the Director, General Accounting, the Manager, General Accounting will lead a team of accounting professionals. The manager will support the Director and will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with Baptist‘s system-wide entities.
• Guaranteeing suitable application and execution of procedures and processes required to comply with current accounting regulations.
• Managing the requirements of the external auditors.
• Encouraging prompt resolution of audit problems.

Estimated salary range for this position is $108816.92 - $141462.00 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance.
• MBA or Master of Accounting degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Knowledge and expertise in technical accounting and evaluation skills.
• Experience working with technical accounting matters and offering analytical solutions.
• Experience leading staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-oriented nature.
• Strong communication skills.
• CPA Preferred (not required).
