Role Description
This is a highly critical, fast-paced role that sits at the intersection of high-volume data entry, technical loan processing, and foundational credit analysis. In this seat, you are not just blindly typing information into a database. You will take raw application files passed over by Sales Support, independently build out the digital loan files, and run all required due diligence backend logistics.
Key Responsibilities
-
Complex Loan Processing & Structural Analysis
-
Loan File Construction: Receive raw application packages from the sales support team to structurally build out new loans, file re-underwrites, modifications, and complex loan addendums inside our internal systems.
-
Structural Diagnosis: Read between the lines of complex, multi-borrower application files to understand the underlying credit structure, identifying whether additional searches are required or if multiple loans are crossed.
-
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate actively with Underwriting, Sales, and Risk departments to ensure data entry matches credit program guidelines and to resolve processing blocks.
-
Comprehensive Due Diligence, Searches & Reporting
-
Background Logistics: Independently initiate, retrieve, and analyze all mandatory compliance and legal verification reports, including lien searches, bankruptcy reports (PACER), credit checks, and OFAC verification.
-
Entity Verification: Conduct rigorous due diligence checks on corporate farm entities, references, and legal entity documentation to verify borrower legitimacy.
-
System Mapping: Interpret the data from external reports and cleanly map the validated information into our internal software infrastructure with near-zero error margins.
-
Data Hygiene & Compliance Auditing
-
Meticulous Record Keeping: Maintain thorough digital file organization and data updates in accordance with strict regulatory standards and company compliance policies.
-
Process Iteration: Proactively flag missing or inconsistent documentation and participate in refining operational procedures to improve team throughput.
Qualifications
-
2+ years of direct experience as a Loan Analyst, Credit Analyst, Junior Underwriter, or senior-level Loan Data Processor within a bank, lending firm, or fast-paced financial services environment.
-
Advanced Structural Aptitude: Deep comfort handling, reviewing, and interpreting complex legal and financial loan documents.
-
High-Volume Execution: Proven ability to hit strict daily and weekly processing deadlines within a lean, fast-moving operations ecosystem without sacrificing data accuracy.
-
Elite English Communication: Fluent C1 English proficiency with a professional, accessible verbal accent for clear internal communication across US-based management teams.
-
Technical Mastery: Highly proficient working inside Microsoft Office 365 (advanced Excel comfort) alongside financial CRM platforms and document repositories.

Direct prior experience navigating legal background search portals such as PACER, lien registries, or commercial credit reporting tools.
