Role Description

The Lead Finance Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, optimization, integration, governance, and continuous improvement of CareDx's Finance systems portfolio, with NetSuite serving as the Company's core ERP platform and Coupa, Concur, FloQast, and related applications supporting critical financial operations. This role serves as the primary technical owner for Finance systems, partnering closely with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Internal Audit, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and well-controlled solutions that support business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Finance Systems Administration and Governance
  • Own the administration, optimization, governance, and strategic roadmap for the CareDx Finance systems portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary technical owner and subject matter expert for Finance systems architecture, configuration, integrations, security, and support.
  • Develop and maintain system standards, documentation, operating procedures, and governance processes.
  • Drive platform enhancements and process improvements.
  • Establish and maintain disciplined change management practices.
• Finance and Accounting Enablement
  • Translate accounting and finance requirements into practical NetSuite solutions.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close requirements by improving workflows, reports, reconciliations, and dashboards.
  • Create reporting capabilities to support consolidation of financials.
  • Improve accounting processes and workflows.
  • Partner with the VP Controller and Accounting leadership to prioritize system work.
• External Consultant and Project Management
  • Own relationships with external consultants, implementation partners, and managed service providers.
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, solution design, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Evaluate recommendations from vendors and consultants.
• Integrations, Systems, and Data
  • Support integrations between NetSuite and adjacent finance or operational systems.
  • Partner with IT and business owners to troubleshoot integration errors.
  • Support acquisition integration activities.
  • Help define the long-term architecture and roadmap for the Finance systems ecosystem.
• Training, Adoption, and Stakeholder Support
  • Provide practical training, guidance, and job aids for new and existing users.
  • Create a consistent intake and prioritization process for enhancement requests.
  • Manage support tickets issued through ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
• Audit, SOX, and Compliance Support
  • Support the external audit process.
  • Partner with Accounting, SOX owners, and external auditors to investigate and resolve audit findings.
  • Support user access reviews and control remediation activities.
  • Ensure finance application administration practices support audit readiness.
  • Participate in risk assessments and control improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive NetSuite administration, finance systems, and ERP implementation experience.
• Strong NetSuite technical skillset across various functionalities.
• At least one year of experience using or administering Coupa.
• Working understanding of core accounting and finance processes.
• Experience managing or coordinating external consultants.
• Experience with integrations between NetSuite and other finance systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership and prioritize competing requests.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Public company, SOX, external audit, regulated life sciences, healthcare experience.

Preferred

• Experience supporting acquisitions and multi-entity reporting.
• Experience with expense management, procurement, and related systems.
• NetSuite certification or comparable technical credentials.
• Experience with SAP Concur, ServiceNow, or similar finance applications.
