Role Description

We're looking for an Investment Specialist who is passionate about wealth management, investment solutions, and delivering exceptional client experiences. In this role, you'll work directly with clients to understand their unique financial goals and recommend investment strategies and solutions aligned to their needs.

What you’ll do

• Build trusted relationships and understand each customer's unique goals.
• Support customers primarily through inbound calls, with occasional outbound calls.
• Provide professional sales and service support, including new account onboarding and investment transactions.
• Ask thoughtful questions to uncover customer needs and recommend relevant investment solutions.
• Manage customer requests from start to finish, including documentation and transaction processing.
• Stay current on investment markets, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Protect customer and Bank information while adhering to all applicable policies.
• Identify and report suspicious activity and make sound, risk-informed decisions.
• Take on broader responsibilities as business and customer needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Typically, between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Good knowledge of competitive marketplace trends and product offerings.
• Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative.
• Some understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.

Salary

$40,500.00 - $80,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried
