Role Description
You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with deep knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, internal controls, and business process design. You thrive at evaluating risk, documenting processes, and identifying gaps that could impact financial reporting. You are just as comfortable digging into process details as you are partnering with cross-functional teams to drive control improvements. You balance independence and collaboration, bringing strong project management and communication skills to keep stakeholders aligned and compliant.
Once Upon a Farm is seeking an Internal Controls Manager to support the company’s SOX compliance program and ensure robust internal controls over financial reporting. This role will focus on business process controls (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, inventory, payroll, financial close) while collaborating with IT and operational teams to ensure end-to-end compliance. You will take ownership of walkthroughs, risk assessments, control documentation, testing, and remediation tracking. By ensuring controls are designed and operating effectively, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining trust, compliance, and strong governance across the organization.
