Role Description

We are looking for a Home-Based Accounting Specialist to join a growing U.S.-based company in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, including:

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Invoice management
• Client billing
• Collections
• Financial record maintenance
• Transaction processing

You will work closely with clients, vendors, internal departments, and the accounting team to ensure:

• Accurate financial records
• Timely processing of transactions
• Efficient resolution of accounting-related issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of General Accounting experience or equivalent
• Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills

Requirements

• Detail-Oriented & Organized: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and support financial accuracy through critical thinking
• Clear & Professional Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Independent & Reliable: Self-motivated, accountable, and capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision in a remote work environment
• Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting
• Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours
• Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software
• Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks
• Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
• Maintaining high accuracy in financial records and attention to detail in every aspect of the job
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus but not required
