[Hiring] Home-Based Accounting Assistant @DCX

Role Description

The DCX Home-Based Accounting Assistant will support the company's financial operations. This position involves various responsibilities, including:

• Data entry and ensuring the accuracy of financial information in accounting software.
• Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports.
• Ensuring efficient and accurate posting of invoice transactions upon client order completion.
• Communicating with vendors, suppliers, and customers to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, financial management, or a related field.
• One (1) to three (3) years of General Accounting experience or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.
• Knowledgeable in using accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant software.
• In-depth understanding of accounts payable/receivable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation.
• Previous working experience as an offshore staff member is highly advantageous.

• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to analyze and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Able to communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and clients while maintaining professionalism.
• Knowledgeable of accounting regulations, procedures, and best practices.
