Role Description
We are seeking an experienced
Head of Accounting
to lead and develop our accounting operations across both e-commerce and manufacturing divisions. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Leading and managing all core accounting processes, including month-end close, the preparation of annual financial statements, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, vendor and payment management, invoice approval, internal controls, and fraud prevention.

Designing and implementing scalable financial operations and policies.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.

8+ years of accounting leadership experience, ideally across both e-commerce and manufacturing sectors.

Proven experience with IFRS or U.S. GAAP accounting standards.

Strong knowledge of accounting operations including AR/AP, payments, vendor management, invoice approvals, and audit procedures.

Experience creating and implementing accounting policies, controls, and process improvement initiatives.

Demonstrated history of preventing and managing financial fraud or vendor-related scams.

Proficiency in ERP or accounting systems (e.g. QuickBooks or similar).

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide accounting teams.

Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
Requirements

Oversee accounting operations across a group of e-commerce companies and a separate manufacturing entity.

Design and implement robust processes for AR, AP, payment management, vendor management, invoice approval, and scam/fraud prevention.

Develop accounting policies and internal control procedures in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.

Manage month-end and year-end closing, financial statements accuracy, and internal/external audits.

Evaluate, propose, and implement accounting systems, tools, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Lead, train, and support the accounting team to ensure alignment and effectiveness across processes and platforms.

Collaborate with finance, operations, and management to ensure timely and consistent financial reporting.

Monitor cash flow, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations.

Act as a key point of contact for banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.

Salary
From 3500 €/mon. net. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
