Role Description

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading or supporting month-end and year-end closing tasks for multiple group entities, ensuring compliance with group and local standards.
• Performing group reporting and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Managing accruals, provisions, and other general ledger entries.
• Handling asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Supporting internal and external audits with relevant documentation and analysis.
• Acting as a key contributor in transition projects, including knowledge transfer and process stabilization.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Supporting the migration to SAP S/4HANA, including testing, validation, and training activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in General Ledger or Financial Accounting roles, preferably in a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment.
• Proven involvement in transitions or migrations of financial processes between entities or systems.
• Strong expertise in month-end closing, group reporting, accruals, provisions, and asset accounting.
• Experience working in production or manufacturing companies is highly desirable.
• Exposure to global finance functions and collaboration across regions.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
• English language skills.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP R/3 and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
