Role Description
Guidehouse is currently seeking financial management professionals in support of our Department of Defense client. These teammates will bring a vast range of experiences across financial management, accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial policy.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), DoW financial management policies and procedures, and DoD organizational structures.

Financial audit statements and audit readiness services.

Understanding of current trends in enhancing compliance with accounting and auditing standards within an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP).

Understanding of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) policies and federal financial management systems.

Functional support to sustain audit and financial management applications and analytics developed within the DoWβs enterprise big data and analytics platform, Advana.

Focus on primary Advana applications used to sustain audit (such as General Ledger /Trial Balance, Fund Balance with Treasury) and mission improvement (e.g., Dormant Account Review-Quarterly (DARQ) and Intra-Governmental Transactions, and other financial, audit, or budget analytical use cases).
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree.

Ten (10) or more years of financial management experience or other relevant experience.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
Requirements

Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.

Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
