Role Description

In this Financial Planner role, you'll provide ongoing advice and support to clients throughout Birmingham, Leicester, and Nottingham. You'll also be motivated to grow your portfolio by developing new business opportunities and building strong professional relationships across the region. With the backing of a dedicated support team, you'll have the flexibility to focus on delivering exceptional client service and tailored financial advice.

This Financial Planner job exists as a dedicated growth role to expand client coverage across the East and West Midlands. Operating with a distinct new business focus, your purpose is to convert warm corporate employee and executive leads and proactively develop your own network to establish and build an enduring, high-value client bank.

Your day to day:

• Deliver holistic financial planning across pensions, investments, and personal protection.
• Convert warm corporate client introductions and platform referrals into active advice clients.
• Travel across the Midlands to conduct face-to-face and virtual client discovery meetings.
• Proactively self-generate new business through personal networking and professional introducers.
• Collaborate with dedicated paraplanners and administration colleagues to streamline report production.

Qualifications

• Experience as an authorised Financial Planner or Financial Adviser (essential).
• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent (essential).
• Current or recent Competent Adviser Status (CAS) (essential).
• Demonstrated track record of proactive business development and winning new clients (essential).

• Base salary of £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience.
