Role Description

We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

• Verification of client’s insurance information.
• Upon admission to our program, determines what clients’ medical assistance status is.
• Identifies which clients need to apply and follows through with the entire application process.
• Transmit client’s 3rd party payer information to pharmacy, lab, and other outside providers for credits and/or adjustments.

Technical Competencies:

• Obtain accurate insurance information throughout the entire Pyramid system.
• Demonstrate conduct in keeping with Pyramid ethical standards.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance job knowledge and skills.
• Medical terminology and computer experience necessary.
• Must be able to comprehend the pertinent instructions for complying with state and federal guidelines.
• Office organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Diplomacy, flexibility, and telephone etiquette.
• Excellent business English skills and familiarity with business formats and principles for correspondence and files.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medical Office preferred.

Compensation

The starting compensation for this role is $15/hour; final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
